Brian Walshe Wife: Meet Ana Walshe – According to prosecutors, Brian Walshe is the husband of Ana Walshe, a Massachusetts woman who went missing around New Year’s Day, dismembered and discarded her remains, and conducted more than a dozen disturbing Google searches.
The Google searches that he made included 10 ways to dispose of a dead body if you really need to and how to stop a body from decomposing in the minutes before he initially told police he last saw his wife.
Prosecutors presented evidence against Brian Walshe in Quincy District Court after issuing a murder warrant for his wife’s death.
Brian Walshe searched the internet on December 27 for the best state for a man to divorce, and instead of divorce, it is believed that Brian Walshe dismembered Ana Walshe and discarded her body.
Brian Walshe is accused of assaulting and beating his wife with the intent to murder her, as well as moving her body or remains, and he has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The couple’s DNA, as well as a Covid vaccination card for Ana Walshe and a hacksaw, cutting shears, and a hatchet, were discovered in trash bags discarded in a dumpster at Brian Walshe’s mother’s apartment complex in Swampscott, about 40 miles north of Cohasset, where they lived.
Prosecutors’ evidence in court revealed disturbing new details about Brian Walshe’s activities in the hours before and after he claimed he last saw his wife.
He conducted the following Google searches on his son’s iPad in the early morning hours of Jan. 1, an hour before he initially told investigators that his wife had left their home to catch a flight to Washington, D.C.
Walshe was seen on surveillance video on Jan. 3 walking to a dumpster in Abington, a town about 15 miles southwest of Cohasset, carrying and discarding items that appeared to be heavy.
He then went to an apartment complex in Abington and another in Brockton, about 4 miles west of Abington, and threw more things away.
On Jan. 4, the day Ana Walshe’s employer reported her missing and police interviewed Brian Walshe at his home, he went to HomeGoods, T.J. Maxx, and Lowe’s and bought towels, bathmats, men’s clothing, squeegees, and a trash can.
Authorities later searched the dumpster contents after they were moved to a waste transfer station in Peabody, about 5 miles north, and discovered 10 trash bags containing blood stains, towels, tape, slippers, a Tyvek suit, rugs, gloves, cleaning agents, carpets, a Covid vaccination card for Ana Walshe, a hacksaw, cutting shears, a hatchet, clothing, and a Prada purse that Brian Walshe had told investigators his wife was last seen with.
